I personally think it is something that should bring us peace, and I understand wanting to celebrate something we have been HOPING for for 10 years. The man was a part of killing MANY MANY MANY Americans as well as other people around the world. I personally believe our leaders have known where Osama has been all along and for some reason just now decided to take action. Maybe a known snake is a far better option than one we don't know!!!! And perhaps Bin Laden had recently pulled the trigger on another attack somewhere and we took him out to prevent it. Whatever the reason, rest assured the leaders of this country had an agenda for the timing of this attack.
And all the dancing in the street over this embarrasses me! When Americans should be saying "It's about damn time" we have them acting like we actually accomplished something grand. Osama Bin Laden is a gnat on the fly swatter of America and we are showing the world that he tied up American forces and resources for over a decade and there was nothing we could do about it. I don't like that image being sent to the rest of the world. I would much prefer our leaders tell the world they knew exactly where he was the whole time and could have eliminated him at any time in the past. Perhap's I'm old fashion in this aspect but I much prefer a "Don't F*** with America" attitude to the recent "Can't we all get along" attitude!

booger, i completely agree with you that some dont like the man because of his skin color, i think i'm above it since my boys and i rescued several black friends they had and allowed them to live with us in order to graduate, i have two black godchildren from one of the young men who lived with us and allowed me that honor in appreciation, but even with that past, maybe i am even one that is influenced by his skin color, i can admit a possible weakness i just dont see....
