Sorry! My phone went caput after the 300m hurdles.

Ingleside & Somerset mile relay teams advanced, boys.

Fredericksburg & Liberty Hill mile relay teams advanced, girls. Goliad team was DQ'd, not sure why or they would have advanced over LH. Anyone know what happened?

Team winners: Fredericksburg girls & Somerset boys.

Congrats and good luck to all next week at STATE!!!!!

Buster Hansel from Cuero got gold that's all I know (that's Facebook info, so don't shoot me if it's wrong lol) but I am 99.999% sure it's accurate.

Sorry, I missed both races. In fact, I missed the 200 & the mile because we were celebrating my friends son's win in the 300m hurdles.

That LH girl that won the 800 also won the mile and I think La Feria got 2nd. LH long distance runner, Susie, is a BA! Very impressed with her...wow

Woohoo!!!! Yeah, she is something else!

I need to find full results - boys triple jump, girls high jump, and maybe something else.

Adam said Cardwell got 3rd in the 800 (boys) and Waller 4th. *crossing fingers* that his 3rd is the best 3rd...

Buster ran 4:25 in the mile to advance. Lots of pressure on him after yesterday. Everybody thought the 3200 would be a slam dunk for him and he came down with some kind of intestinal problem. Whether it was food poisoning or just a bug it really knocked him for a loop. The 9:35 guy turned into a 10:15 guy. He almost walked off the track with 200 meters left but jogged it in and finished fifth. Today's mile was better but still a little weak.

Brandon Lacy from Lytle won the 800 in 1:54 and change. That will be Buster's college roommate.

I cannot say enough about Abby Sheppard's 300 hurdles race. 44.37 to 44.39 for Natalie Baker from LaVernia. A stud in her own right. At that speed two one hundredths of a second is about 6 inches.

The only thing I know on Goliad's mile relay is the official kept pointing in the direction of the curve where you have to run in your lane. You actually run that curve twice. There are rules about how many consecutive steps you can touch the painted line on the inside of your lane. Maybe it was something like that.

Liberty Hill boys and girls have a very, very good track program. Salado showed well. Goliad Girls. LaVernia boys and girls. Sam Houston boys. Too many to name them all. Monday weather sucked. Today was nice but still windy.

Congrats to Camry, Monte, Buster, Abby from Cuero.

that girls 300 hurdle must have been a good one. 3rd place finisher qualified for state also and goes in with the 4th fastest time at the state meet. go reg. 4!

congrats to the Fredericksburg girls for winning the region 2 years in a row!
