Pakistan is yet another example of a nation which is not our friend taking plenty of American dollars every year, but plays both ends against the middle for $$$.

Osama bin Laden was killed in a house 1,000 yards from the Pakistani Military Academy, which he had apparently been using for a while.

That place is equal to our West Point. Something fishy for sure.

This wasn't inadequacy, the ISI is/has been coy about this all along. We act unilaterally and finally get him. It looks bad on them. The ISI has a better track record in that part of the world than the CIA, IMO the important people in their intel services knew.

I'm bettin we traded "No Retribution for Harboring" for the right to fly over and use him for target practice....so the deal is done

Pakistan is like a crooked cop---they take money from the good guys and the bad guys.

even the nut in Korea knows better.... Conventionally, however, they merely have to let one get stolen (i.e. U.S./Israel).

They are imminently more concerned with India than fundamentalists in their own country. The ISI has been suspected of working with those very terrorists in orchestrating bombings in India (Mumbai).

Better to ask for forgiveness than beg for permission. It's a done deal.

Is it just me or does it seem like they must have been protecting him all along?

Most definitely were providing safe haven. Once the US figured out where he was, the rest became fairly evident. That's WHY Pakistan wasn't told until the Seals were back on the carrier.

100% agree.
We don't want Pakistan selling or turning over these weapons to countries who would not be afraid to use them.
I do believe we will have a "come to Jesus" meeting with Pakistan over this.;)

If they were helping fish food himself which I believe they were, then imo, cut 100% of foreign aid.
