Leopards are No. 14 in Class 4A

The Gainesville Leopards soccer team is ranked No. 14 in the state in Class 4A in the first TASCO soccer poll of the 2004 season.

The Leopards (2-3-1) start district play tonight at Wichita Falls Hirschi. Gainesville is in the same district with 4A schools including Hirschi, Wichita Falls High, Wichita Falls Rider and Burkburnett. Rider is ranked No. 2 in the state. The Leopards will host Rider Feb. 6 and Mar. 12. Gainesville plays at Rider on Feb. 24.

They dont have 3A soccer, so any 3A schools wanting to play soccer has to play in 4A

Here is a question to everyone. What 3A schools do you know have soccer? I only know of a few in Southeast Texas. I know that Kountze and I think Hardin-Jefferson have soccer. That's all I can think of in this area.
