Not sure if I will try to go to Victoria or not. I have to work Saturday morning, but will give it some thought. Ashton & company might want to go and need a chauffeur.

So does anyone know what the Bluejays down in Needville have this year. I see that they have gone to state the last two years. They are matched up with Sinton in the first round, what does this series look like?

Ditto this. Our playoff experience with them last year - they had some decent hitters (who I believe they still have) but without their pitcher - beatable.

I'll give us the edge as far as pitching and everywhere else I'd guess that we are pretty even. We'll find out tomorrow!

still 3 weeks left in the regular season here in Northern VA ..... Friday I have Fairfax at Langley. The ball here is a few notches below the ball in NTX.

So Sinton has some pretty good pitching this year? I guess with the loss of Falls down there in Needville, their pitching has dropped a little. I heard she was pretty amazing.

Needville was a Regional Finalist, State Champion, and State Semifinalist behind her pitching. Cally was always deceptively effective. Not a lot of speed, but very good movement and hits her spots. She's now in the pitching rotation at Alvin Community College as a freshman. Alvin is 30-23 so far, and she is 12-3.

She did have a very tempting rise ball - got a lot of our hitters...
