I think he gets fired or quits before next season. Big schools do the "Don't ask--don't tell" thing when it comes to their coaches dealing with the NCAA. They plead ignorance and fire coaches that get caught lying to the NCAA to protect the university's reputation.

the bruce pearl lesson learned is that if you stay and fight it, it gets on everyone's nerves and makes for years of espn not reporting anything but that everyday......they dont stop until theyve cost you your job, then mission accomplished....

Pat Forde wrote a scathing rebuke of him saying he needed to be fired. It may come to pass.
