Anybody remember Stevens & Pruett on the radio in DFW and then Houston? It suddenly came to me of whom G2 and PPHSFan remind me so much---it was Stevens & Pruett......How about an Uncle Waldo story or two....:D

Listened to them in the mornings on a van pool in Houston back in 80. They used to by Hutson and Harrigan when they were on 610 am and then left to another station and became Stevens and Pruit.

Ya'll remember Mody???

What great memories!!! First started out as Hudson and Harrigan 95.7 Kikk then became the radio GODS at 101 KLOL with Eddie the Bonner Sanches. They are in a book called Terror on 59. Any car coming thru with one of their stickers on it would be pulled over. Uncle Waldo and Hey Dudes lets do Lunch! Restin peace Stevens. He was 76 when he passed away last year.

Remember when Mark Stevens would MC dances at our local youth Center in Mineral Wells back in the 60's when he was with KFJZ in Ft. Worth. He owned a clothing store where Uncle Julios now sits on Camp Bowie Blvd.

No, it was Lanny Griffith "traffic in bondage". He was a guy.

On KLOL they called it "phone traffic" and it was delivered in the style of a 1-900 line operator.
