Well it's today and 2 of my running buddies are running it. Anyone else ever run it or know someone who is or has?

The qualifying times are suppose to be getting tougher after this year. I'm still a year or two from being in the shape to get there, so congrats to those that have!

There are 3 American hopefuls to win the Boston today.

Ryan Hall is the male hopeful who is in the lead pack with the Kenyan's and Ethiopian's after the 30K check point.

Kara Goucher and Desiree Davila are the 2 female hopefuls and are in the lead pack with the Kenyan's and Ethiopian's after the 35K check point.

Come on USA!!! It's been a very long time since an American has won the Boston...

Perspective:

Ryan Hall's time at the 30K, 1:28:23... that's a sub 5 minute mile pace for 18 miles. Insane!!
