I'm not gonna make it to Brownwood. So, any updates or a final

Brownwood leads 11-2 end of 4th.
A Brownwood win clinches atleast a share for the district title. That and win in one of their final two
games will give them the outright title.

Okay, this Brownwood announcer is all over the place. He's not sure of the score or the inning.
Headed to the bottom of the 5th.

No offense Red... and not being cocky, but I expected this one to possibly be a 10 run rule game. S'water hit the ball well it sounds like.

Our hitting has been there all year. We just lack depth at pitcher. Our ace has pitched a ton
this season, including a handful of hiigh pitch count comnplete games. My guess is his arm
is flat worn out. He started this game and BW got to him in the 3rd. They scored 7 in the inning.

You need more than one good pitcher to win consistently. In all honesty, I remember when Sweetwater was one of the elite athletic programs in West Texas. Especially in football and track. Maybe if they drop to 2A in a couple of years they can get back to where they used to be.

It's crazy to think of Sweetwater as a 2A since they were in 4A what... 10 years ago?

2000 was the first year Sweetwater competed in 3A.
What are the current numbers at SHS? I figured they were 150-200 above 2A numbers.
Unless the UIL does some major enrollment number changes... Sweetwater should stay in 3A for several years.
480 according to Coach Slaughter.
