Just read where wildfires have burned 1.2 million acres in Texas this year so far. Half of that has been in just the last week or two.
I'm in San Angelo right now, and will head home to Sweetwater this afternoon. There are two wildfires burning between here and there now, and another just west of here. Smoke is heavy in the air, and it seemed to be snowing ash on us all day yesterday.
