ahh the sacrifices made for a good time. Look me up I'll be the one with a beer in my hand swaying to the beat of the country sounds. :-)

That reminds me of the old Johhny Rivers tune "Slow Dancin, swayin to the music"

Great line up this year! Cheers to the CGB. Good friend of mine.

The acoustic tent is where I'd be hangin out everyday... crowds at the main stage have gotten way too rowdy for me these days... unless I could sit back stage of course. Scenery is pretty entertaining from that view. lol

We usually tough it out Wed and Thursday, last year I made my way to the very front during RRB. Friday and Saturday though, it's lawn chairs back with the old folks.

Yep, it's good to get in the "crowd" for a good band... but it's risky anymore. Damn college kids. lol

The campfire jam sessions... now that's what I really love about LJT festival. Getting to jam with whoever shows up. Mostly musicians, singer-songwriters playing together whether you have an album out or not.

Haven't heard any live music since August of last year

Went to see Lorrie Morgan in Bay City

Haven't heard any Texas Music in almost three years when we went to see Charlie Robison at Greek Bros in El Camp..

Hard to find Texas music in Wharton County anymore. Greek Bros hardly has any and no place in Wharton

This area Wharton and El Campo used to be the hot bed of Texas music 5-10 years ago with a place in Wharton called The Innkeeper Martini Bar

Heard Cross Canadian Ragweek, Randy Rogers Band, etc.

We just don't get out anymore and don't drive to Houston anymore to hear any music.

We may go hear Bellamy Btothers in May in El Campo. Heard them 4 times already-First time was in the late 70s at a club in Houston-They've been playing that long

That must have been! I was wondering how they were going to arrange the set.

I was at Grump's for lunch today and saw several that looked like they were about to head that way... damn, made me realize how I really didn't want to go back to work! lol
