Spring games is a dumb idea, but trust me, they are aimed at getting to charging admission and sending a cut to the UIL somehow....

back somehow to only 6 state champs is a better idea than what there is now......it will be tougher for the smaller schools in each class, but it won't make it impossible for them to win, and it will mean the 3A champ is THE real 3A champ, not 1/2 a champ like it is now.....

What's funny is.. last year I joked about Austin Westlake getting a red turf and briefly fooled the Austin media..

low and behold, months later.. someone actually does it.

Or simply work it out where the Div1 and Div2 champs play each other for the final prize..

LSU athletics site last year posted that Tiger Stadium would be going to purple turf and had a write.

None of it really matters because if we can't figure out how to fund our eductional system then wouldn't sports be the FIRST to go?

Then you would have a huge increase in kids failing and would be an even bigger disaster then what there is now.
