I am terrified of snakes....It's a wonder I'm still alive...last year, at work ( I work in a old house, remodeled with barn wood and old tin, really cool) I was working late and I opened my bosses door and a HUGE snake landed on my arm, wrapping itself around my hand and trying to crawl up arm.....at first I thought it was rubber, a joke by my co-workers, or something,but I realized it was real....i kept shaking it, trying to make it get off, but it clung harder, I knew I had to take my other hand and pull it off, it was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, after 10 min of screaming and trying to get my hand to move , I grabbed it and threw it off, then I took one leap, landed on top of my bosses desk and called 911!! I still can't believe I survived...the cops came, wanted to take me to hostipal, I was sooooooo upset.....yeah I hate snakes !

Around Halloween time, I'm scared of Bandera Ya Ya!! eek! eek! Just kidding yaya, you know I love ya!! :p

Speaking of snakes, my husband has killed 3 baby rattlers in our yard in the past 2 weeks. We must have a den somewhere!! My flowerbeds just got to grow over a little early this year. I am not about to put my hand in one now, as that as where he found the 2nd one!!! frown

yeah, I wanted to die, surprised I didn't have a heart attack.....I kinda went into shock, the poor cop heard me screaming bloody murder, thought someone was killing me...found me on top of the desk...I swear I took one leap and landed on top of it,and it's a good 8 ft from the door, really don't remember my feet touching the floor to get there! After I called 911, I called my boss and he sent his ranch foreman (lives in town) to see about me.....it took about 45 minutes for them to talk me into getting off the desk... i mean, that darn snake was still in there somewhere! The next day, and let me tell you it took all my courage to even walk in there again...my boss had the foreman completely seal up all holes and places a snake could come inside from...but he was prob in the old barn wood and finally made his way out....but that afternoon, my boss walked in after lunch and there that darn snake was, curled up on the floor..so he kicked it to death...that's when I say just how long it was....It made me all dizzy again....it was soooooooo long and it had been on my arm! I'll never forget the sound and the weight of it when it landed on my arm....ughhhhhhhh eek!

I know this is weird. But how about those plugs in the walls. I remember as a child seeing those plugs. You've got two long drawn eyes and a mouth (ground). Look for yourself sometimes. It looks like a face. Today, it's still spooky?

Missing the football game that night because of having to take my daughter trick or treating on Halloween. Bet not many have thought about that. Halloween falls on a Friday night this year. Darn the bad luck frown

Greenwood is open that week!!! That was the night we were scheduled to play Presidio!!

I won't miss a beat though. I don't have to take anyone Trick-or-treating. So me and hubby are "treating" ourselves to a 5-A game between the Midland Lee Rebels and the Odessa Permian Panthers!!!

Burning in a fire, drowning and falling off of a tall building. So what did I do about it? Became a fireman (worked at the busiest fire station in the western US), scuba diver (80 ft down in the big blue water makes ya concentrate) and worked on the high angle rescue team (hanging off of a 40 story building on a rope still gives me the willies). Those three things still scare me, but they can't make me hide.
