Impressive win for Taylor. They have been struggling pretty bad in the early part of the season but a win like this can go a long way.

so what are the softball standings? Guessing Lampassas is in first...and Burnet, LH and Taylor have one losses and Salado and Llano no wins.

Lampassa 3/0 Burnet 2/1 LH 2/1 Taylor 2/1 Salado and Llano 0/3. LH was predicted to win our district with Lampassa and Salado fighting it out for 2nd and 3rd, Taylor 4th, Burnet 5th, and Llano 6th.

wow really...I'v seen those Lampassas girls play they are pretty loaded............if I remember right they returned eight starters and two pitchers. No matter this is a tough district.

I think after speaking with a buddy the opposite district you all match up with in the playoffs...standing look like this

Boerne 0-5 Lampassas #1 pitcher quit softball this year. She,s doing nothing but track. They are a very aggrisve team. Very well coached team. I think their pitching will hurt them on down the line.Their #1 pitcher this year was their hindcatcher last year.

Overall they have more talent but we are lacking in the pitching department. J Pollard is starting to step up and looks like he will become the 2 hole pitcher. They made a couple of changes in the lineup this week and it seemed to help. They go to Llano Friday so come on out , they have some great burgers at the field over there.

The Boy is minding his manners thus far , even made it thur the first round at Salado with out incident. The first baseman is the kid that yours and mine got into it with in football. (If my memory serves me correct didnt yours get ejected ). ;)

You other folks would just have to know Cam's boy , walks softly and hits with a tree.
