District standings

Snyder 2-0
Brownwood 1-0
Abilene Wylie 1-1
Sweetwater 0-1
Big Spring 0-2

Tonight Brownwood is @ Sweetwater and Wylie is @ Big Spring.
It looks like it's going to be cold, wet and windy. Hopefully, they'll
be able to get the games in.

I'll be at our game. If any of the Brownwood folks want updates,
text or PM me.

It's scheduled to start at 7. But, it's currently 44 degrees with 10-15 mph winds here. So, the
two coaches may have agreed to start as early as possible before the weather gets worse.

Thanks, been looking online but it is not showing yet. Not sure if they broadcast baseball online or not.

I know Sweetwater doesn't. We don't even broadcast our baseball games on the radio
unless it's the playoffs.

And I guess I should've added the wind chill is
36 degrees and the wind is supposed to pick
up to 15-25 mph with gusts around 3O-35. Definitely not baseball weather.

Brownwood broadcast the games on the radio but I'm in Abilene tonight. This weather is crazy, supposed to be around 90 by Sunday.

I just talked to GetRDoneStangs and the game has been postponed until 4:30 tomorrow. Good
call by the coaches.

Boohoohoo:weeping: :weeping:

Wylie and Big Spring played in the cold. Snyder and Seminole played in the cold. The softball teams (including Sweetwater and Brownwood) played in the cold. I sat in the stands in Big Spring in the frigid wind watching Wylie and Big Spring. Suck it up boys!! :D

They postponed the game because of problems with the lights!

No problem.

A bunt by Graylon Brown with runners on first and second and our pitcher throwing the ball
over the first basemen's head sparked a four run inning. It was basically over after that with
the way the BW kid was pitching.

Don't know his name. I think his jersey number was 10 if I
remember correctly. He was tall, chubby and white if that helps. :D
