The Robinson Rockets made a loud statement as they opened district with a 12-0 road win over China Spring. Robinson is 13-4 on the year and obviously 1-0 in district play.

Better to start off the "grand scheme of things" with a road win rather than an embarrassing home loss. From my perspective, I am hoping this is a sign of things to come in district play. The Rockets have a solid starting pitching staff. If they can stay healthy, they should make a deep run in the playoffs.

True that it is only one district win, but that taste of satisfaction is almost . . . well let's just say it felt real good!
