Big outing for Cuero and a young team. Tanner Hoffman is hitting his stride on the mound.....Bottom of the line up really came up big. This team has been playing very tight. This is the game they needed to get their confidence going and loosen up. There is some good baseball in this team.

This is basically our JV team. Two freshman, 3 or 4 sophomores in the starting lineup. The young guns have the sticks too.

Very impressed with them last night with one exception. We have got to learn to get a bunt down. I have been to four home games and we are at least 0 for 20 in getting down a bunt. I have not seen a bunt yet that stayed fair or wasn't fouled off.

I had heard a couple weeks ago at our La Grange tournament that Cuero had some Senior players or players quit the team, is this just a bad rumor or is there any truth to it.

No srs. have quit.The srs. are quality kids and are showing the leadership the team needs as the young kids gain experience.I have a grandson that is a soph. and he has great respect for the srs. on the team. The team has had its ups and down but are mentally tough and that means a lot.
