Just think you may get to meet Carthage again in the baseball playoffs.
If you think the football team is good check out how many times they have played for the baseball championship. I could not help myself. I played for Carthage in both sports back in the seventies. We were not good in Football back then, but we were very good in baseball.
Good luck to Brownwood in baseball.

Robinson certainly did not play very well (5 errors), but give credit to the Lions for a well-played game. Lions = 6 runs on 11 hits and 0 errors; Robinson = 1 run on 6 hits and 5 errors. The Rockets did not seem very "into" the game.

How many football players are starters on the team and what position do they play?
Anyone know?
Brown and McShan are two that started.

McShan (receiver/DB), Brown (QB), Crow (OL), Ellis (reviecer, DB, kicker), Perez (RB), Burleson (C), Mitch Stephens (back-up QB) are major contributors to the baseball program. I am sure I left someone off the list.

We were not 4A...we got here through hard work...2A forever. Then we grew and became 3A...not a small nor a large 3A. Carthage moved down from 4A about 5-6 years ago. But we don't cry about it. We take the hand we are dealt and run with hit...Oh! Did I tell you....

Carthage was 3A from 1956 thru 1979, 4A from 1980 thru 2001, and back to 3A since 2002.

Wow, the Snyder/Brownwood series should be a good one.
Ward (QB/LF), Carroll (LB/CF), G. Smith (DB/RF), Roemisch (SS/SS), Taylor (WR/2B/P) and Davis (RB/C). These are from the football team that I can remember. I'm sure they're are some I left out.
