Marcus Dupree got great advice from street agents Rev. Ken Fairley and Uncle Curly...Coach Aker's quote is right on the money - "Oh yeah, the uncle. There’s ALWAYS an uncle."
Lots of people around these situations that don't know how much they don't know, but it never stops them from shooting off bad information and advice.
The Rev. told Dupree come back to Southern Miss and you can play next year. WRONG. OK well, we'll go USFL then. I'll be your agent and you'll be set for life. Thanks Rev.
