View Full Version : Sinton Coach leaves for Refugio

Chris Jones has left his position as Sintons Offensive Coordinator to become the head coach at 2A, Refugio. This is what i was told yesterday. Appearantly, he left Sinton already and is working out the boys in Refugio.
Best of Luck in Refugio Coach Jones.

Where did Rick Keese go? I didn't know they were looking to make a change.

Coach Keese left a while back.Also heard Sinton got the Refugio OC.Kind of a swap deal I guess.Any how don't know if the Oc deal is true or not,but Jones is the new Cat in Refugio.By the way-WHASUUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never knew Keese left Refugio. He graduated from Ingleside High back in the mid-60's and still has ties here. One of my buddies is actually his nephew. I'll keep everyone posted as to where Keese goes. He's a good coach, I just don't think he fit well into the program at Refugio as the head man. I wish him well wherever he winds up and I'd also like to say good luck to Coach Jones. He's gone from one football factory to another and the folks here in Ingleside wish him well.

Don't know if anyone is interested, but word is that Coach Keese is headed to CC Ray. Best of luck to both him and Coach Jones.

Coach Lonnie Goad, former Sinton Offensive Lines coach, has been named the new Offensive Coordinator for Sinton.

Who is the new offensive coordinator? Like, when was he the offensive line coach? I have never heard of this man....

Last season Coach Jones ran the offense, while Coach Goad coached the offensive line. Coach Goad was brought in after Coach Arroyo left with Coach Davis. Coach Goad also runs Sinton's offseason program.

Okay, Davis left the year after I graduated, which explains why i have never heard of Coach Goad.

Yah, Jones jumped straight to Refugio after he was hired, he pretty much didn't have a choice... It's already May and those boys were without a coach... Good Luck to Jones...

BTW... How's Sinton lookin?
