Finals are set......Burkburnett vs. The Howling Bear.
Didn't get to see the other semi-final, so I don't know much abot Burkburnett.
Either Maceo had a bad game or maybe they're just not that good. West Oso was much more impressive today than they were in the 2 games I saw them play last weekend.

Not an upset at all, the speed from the east is showing its ugly head again. That is how Tatum plays, put track stars on the floor that can handle a basketball with a in your face pressure defense. They have been undefeted since all the football boys joined the team. I look for them to win the state championship in Basketball and Track.

Yea it was Melissas only loss was to 4a Dallas Woodrow Wilson. They dominated everyone to get there Tatum barely got by Crockett. Your homer opinion aside the general consensus down in Austin was Melissa was fully expected to win 2a.

Gotta love Tatum's numbering system for its players:
The number game
Tatum rolled out an interesting starting lineup for its Class 2A semifinal against Melissa. Carl Watkins Jr., Nathan Pickett, Desmond Fite, Kendall Bell and Dylan Starling respectively wear Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 for the Eagles.
Fite and Bell combined to score 41 points, but the Eagles' biggest hero may have been a zero. Senior guard Brandon Woodard, who wears No. 0, had 16 points and hit five of Tatum's nine three-pointers.

Sounds like they were missing quite a few shots too....
Alot of 3pt attempts from both teams in the first half.
