Here are some signs that the guy driving the baseball boys to the game is a sponsor and not a coach.
-Is an offensive/defensive coordinator in the fall
-Baseball is his 2nd/3rd sport and only is there for the extra stipend and because he has to be.
-Has trouble dragging or watering or doesnt know that either are necessary.
-The pitching rubber sticks up 2 inches and there is grass where dirt should be and vice versa.
-Hits fungo with 1 hand, uses an accubat or doesnt hit fungo.
-Throws the pop up to the catcher after infield.
-Goes to football offseason in the spring and thinks its great
-Doesnt wear a baseball uniform
-Wears stirrups backwards
-When making a pitching change, asks for a show of hands to see who knows how to pitch.
-Practice, if held, is after track
-At practice one guys bats, one guy pitches and the rest "shag" flies while the coach talks football with someone.
-Doesnt schedule games during spring break.
-Hates the playoffs cause they cut into 7 on 7.
