Things are getting bad. GOP Congressmen order arrests of senators who fled. Also, lawmakers are on a collision course with the voting public and losing ground.

I've got a better idea...immediately terminate the rest of their terms, and then hold emergency elections for replacements (or give the seats to the second place finishers). Oh, and bar those 14 people from ever seeking public office again..

This same thing happened when the Democrats lost the power in Texas a couple of years ago. I think they should all do jail time. Their very existence in Government is based on the idea that they vote their opinion and the majority vote wins. To flee in order to prevent the vote because it has become obvious that the overall vote will go against your desires is to undermine the entire democratic process. Regardless of how strongly they feel or how righteous they may think they are in this it is still wrong for the minority vote to use tactics like this to prevent the process from taking place. I say put them all in jail!

This is not going to end well. Walker really screwed the pooch on this one. He could have passed his cuts, got the budget balanced, and been a hero to both sides. But, he caught that Napoleon bug and it could possibly lead to his ruin.

Which would be a benefit to everyone involved! Just like Obama and his healthcare package it seems a bit irrational for these guys to intentionally go against what has been shown to be the desires of the majority of the people.

Yes, as is also the case here in Texas. Unfortunately, lots of people will be hurt before it has a chance to be fixed.
