I'll be working at the fire station. With as dry as it has been, I will spend the entire shift putting out fires started by those who pop fireworks. In my last 5 shifts...I have fought 2 multiple alrm fires and 5 house fires. Fortunaley with no deaths and only 3 injuries to fire fighters.

Fire-up the grill. Pop a few fireworks with the kids and maybe raise a glass of Old No.7 brand to bring in the new year. Remember to designate a driver if you do decide to go out and party. Happy new year!!!!!!!!! :) :)

BIG BLUE DEFENSIVE END

We used to pop fireworks. My old dog, Biscuiteater, would always bark and run around and sometimes eat the fireworks...I think he enjoyed it more than we did. He died about 8 months ago of old age (16), and I don't think I'm going to do much of anything now, it just wouldn't seem right. Hope everybody has a Happy New Year.

Hope everybody has a Happy New Year.I am soooo sorry about your dog....he was very lucky to have such a good owner, for so many years. But I bet he would want you to pop a few just in memory of him....and why don't you get yourself a new pup...you seem to have alot of love to give a pet. I have 2 dogs myself and can't imagine not having one around for company.
Well, Happy New Year to you!
