Indeed yes. The Pelican West is located there at 410 Padre Boulevard. Don't miss this one if you are there. You are in for a treat.

Phil, who is the BEST band on Padre Island though? Who puts on the best show?

There are several great ones but the Pelican West band is the best. But remember this is at South Padre Island not Padre Island near Corpus Christi.

I've been told that I've been to one concert on SPI. Cross Canadian Ragweed/Pat Green Spring Break circa 2001 it was at on the beach close to Schlitterbahn. I am told that it was a great show and that I had a good time. We were there Saturday thru Saturday, the conert was on a Thursday night. My memory fades on Monday about 9PM and I don't remember much from the rest of that week. LOL Best Spring Break of my life!

I've been 3 times....once with High School Friends, once with College Friends and once with Family.......had fun 2 of the 3 times.

LOL.....no. I went to Padre with the family the summer after the spring break trip. SPI isn't as fun in the summer and especially with mom being there.....haha Let's just say the trip to Matamoros was totally different with the family.

Never been to Padre Island-Too far of a drive for us from Hungerford.

We haven't done a road trip in over 5 years. Our traveling days are over.

Wife and I just like to stay around the house these days and take it easy.

We may go out to Rosenberg area but that's about it.

It's not a Pirate Scam that's for sure. :)

Yeah, whenever I feel homesick I just look at the ol' piratescam.com and check out the Lighthouse cam and....it helps. I'd rather be fishin' in the bay in the morning, then playing 18 holes at the golf course in nearby Laguna Vista.
