I think the man is losing his grip on reality, likely the cumulative effect of chronic drug and alcohol abuse. He should just clean up for a few weeks, preferrably stay clean, and get his mind functioning at a more rational level. The things I've read and seen about his actions makes it clear he is having some major problems cleaning up. I guess if you have the means, and the rest of it is available, it makes it doubly tough to do this..... He needs a definite kick in the arse, somehow, before it's too late!:doh:
