Concan is near by. We have had several vacations there. Also on the Frio.

I won't have much time for a summer vacation having summer classes, but every chance I get I'll be hitting up the river to float...If I didn't have to work yesterday, I would've went haha

I'll be at home working on the house. If these budget measures go through and either my wife or myself lose a job, I figure we can at least rent out a room to bring in some income.

Corpus Chrisit Padre Island and South Padre Island in Texas are good places to go if you like the beach.

At South Padre Island Bull you can get great music at the Pelican West Club at 410 Padre Blvd, Suite 101. They are a great band and if you go there you want to not miss them.
