Hey fellow downlowers! Maybe the downlow can help put her over the top of this competition. My niece (Nicole Esperanza) would appreciate your vote for this Plus Model Magazine competition. She is currently in 2nd place and voting ends next Monday. As you can see, the winner will get a great opportunity in New York. Thanks! I'm real proud of her. Nicole is a real go-getter & a really good person. She is a graduate of UT, an actress, and, has a beautiful singing voice as well. The Downlowers have made a difference as she's now in 1st place with 16.6% of the votes. That currently puts her 1.2% ahead of the second place girl. :clap:
It's gonna be a fight to the finish (next Monday).

Don't think so but not sure. I tried to vote again two days later but didn't let me. The girl on her tail in second place is definitely a threat. She's is already a well known model. Thanks everybody!

Holy guacamole! It's turned into a two horsie race. Last night, my niece got passed up by the gal in 2nd (Kelle I think her name is - she is a beautiful girl.) This morning, my niece has retaken the lead by 2.4% of the votes.

Might be! Spoke to my niece. Sounds like the only place the website isn't working is in Texas.....Last I heard she was ahead by about 2% but if folks can't vote and the other gal's fans can, we're hosed....I'll keep checking into it...

Well, got an answer. Someone was cheating....here is the magazines response:

Hi

We had to stop voting because we had people using a program that uses bogus IP addresses and votes all day long. Its just not fair to us or the models.

We decided to have our panel of judges choose the winner.

It was a big bummer for us to have to do this but I'm sure the judges will choose the best model for this opportunity.

SHE WON the contest!!! Nicky called me and said she tried to log in to the Downlow to thank everyone. But, she couldn't get in. Anyway, she wanted me to thank all of you for voting! Looks like she'll be spending quite a bit of time in New York and has already done some photo shoots in LA. Even getting calls now from Lane Bryant and some company from Australia....wow....
