Allison named AD/HC @ Robinson

Robinson ISD has named Tommy Allison from Jacksboro as it's new AD/HFC. The school board will officially hire him on Friday and he will start his duties on Monday, February 28th.

Coach Talbert is a quality individual and a good coach. Robinson had several coaches that interviewed for the job that would have been considered "good hires" for the job and Brad was one of those coaches.

Robinson ISD school board will meet tomorrow morning at 8:30 to approve the hiring of Allison as their athletic director and head football coach. The transition period will be interesting to say the least especially with one of the finalist (Talbert) currently on staff. Talbert is a good coach and I hope they find a way to keep him in the district.

He bailed awful quick on Jacksboro. They are rebuilding a little bit but the freshman, gonna be soph, class is solid from all reports. I wasn't terribly impressed with the product he had this past season. I know he had a ton of success at Cayuga, but anyone could win with the stud he had toting the mail. I'm wondering if he's one of those 'good coaches so long as he has talent' kind of guys. I don't mean that as being derogatory even though it sounds bad, but some people can't make chickens out of chicken poop. Others can't get their chickens to strut like a rooster. I think Allison can get his chickens to strut he just can't make chickens. I hope that makes sense, :D .
