My daughters almost cried when they heard about that. I had to try to explain to them that pro baseball was a business first and foremost, and that players sometimes move on when they don't see eye to eye with their team. That went over like a screen door on a submarine. I would love to see Michael Young retire as a Ranger, but it probably won't happen. I, however, don't see another team thinking he's worth anywhere near his $16 million salary, and the Rangers probably won't pay another team the remaining money of his salary if he is traded. I don't think another team will see him being worth over half of that salary, unless it's the Yankees......:(
