I think that I read that the bond election passed with 68% of the vote. They also voted to build a fine arts center. I think the bond was something like $110,000,000. The people of Allen aren't afraid to invest in their kids.

LOL, I think if Sweeny wants turf their citizens should pass a bond. The smaller school stuff is crap, there's 1A and six man schools with field turf

Allen used to be a Robin Hood school...original stadium was built with Plano ISD money.

u sure? Their old Stadium was built in 1980..the Robin Hood plan did not start till 1993

Maybe it's the HS and not the stadium that was built in 2000... so is Allen still considered a property poor school district receiving Robin Hood money?
