This is great advice. If you go into a skid you are much better able to control it if you are going slow.

The thing that kills me is that people with 4WD or AWD vehicles think they can corner and stop better than everyone else so they go faster on this stuff.

NOTE TO 4X4 DRIVERS:
Having power to all wheels will help you get moving quicker and less likely to get stuck spinning...it will NOT help you speed around an icy corner or stop faster than grandmas Taurus however.:doh:
