Only ones I can brag to. I am very proud of my nephew. He made All State 2nd team Quarterback. I think that's pretty great thing since we did not even make the playoffs. Anyway
I'm very proud and wanted to brag a bit. I think he's the best kid around. Of courseI coud be a bit biased.

Is this on the TSWA All State team? I read it in the paper and they didnt list the #2 QB so I was wondering who got it. Whats his name and what school?

His name is Dylan Brown. He goes to Longview Spring Hill. He's a heck of an athlete.

Speaking of nephews, here's my sister's kid. Works for Fox Sports LA as an assistant producer (neat gig). Spoke to him two nights ago and just arrived in Dallas as part of the Super Bowl crew. And yep, he's a pretty boy who is also pursuing an acting career in LA. Check him out on last years all star baseball commercial (his 1st) at the 42 second mark. He's the dude holding the surfboard. He is our families version of "Rudy". Was a scout team QB for UT from 2004 to 2007. Never saw the field........but he's on his way to success it looks like. So, never stop telling your kids anything is possible and to never stop chasing their dreams.

I don't know how to post a picture. LEDad was trying to teach me before he left us too soon.

But like WBoy said...he is Dylan Brown. He was our QB at Spring Hill. He will be playing baseball in college. Has signed with a joco but has lots of bigger schools contacting him. Some coming to look but I kind of hope he stays at juco level and as he says " work hard and develop as a player". He is a very decent and humble young person who believes his destinty is in God's hands(his words).. you can see why iam so proud of him.

The article can be seen at Longview News Journal.com. There is also a picture in there of his signing his baseball scholarship committment. The other 2 boys in the picture with him are child hood buddies that have played together since the age of 5.

BEAST Yes is the Texas Sports Writers Association 3A All State Football Team 2nd team Quartherback. Morgan from Carthage took 1st team QB...as it should be.

His stats for this year are listed in LNG.com. He played only 8 games this year due to concussion in the Henderson district game. Spring Hill High School, Longview

I would not mislead ya.
