Some schools (http://www.caller.com/news/2011/feb/02/ccisd-calallen/) are planning closures for Thursday and Friday.

I was told by one of the parents is that all schools in Sinton will be closed on Thursday and Friday.

I guess they have to give parents some time to figure out what to do with their kids, but I think it's a little early to do this.

All Coastal Bend College campuses are closed Thursday and Friday. Hooray for a four-day weekend! :D

Abilene schools will be close again tomorrow! That's three days in a roll. In the mean time I have continue to drive my wife to work, it's been about a two round trip. 18 miles round trip about 10 to 15 miles an hour not including stops! Good Dyess AFB had been closed as well!

For now, the Gobblers of Cuero are in class. No word of any closures.

Yesterday Texas State canceled classes after 12:30 through today at 12:30...both days, my classes got canceled. 5 day weekend for me haha

SCHOOL CLOSING

Due to impending weather conditions, SISD will finish today (Thursday) on the regular schedule. All after-school activities have been cancelled. There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, February 4th. Classes will resume on Monday, February 7th.

All Athletic after school activities are cancelled for today and tomorrow. The HS Boys and Girls Basketball Teams will only play Columbia - at Columbia HS on Saturday. Varsity girls will play at 2:00 pm and varsity boys will play at 3:30 pm.

Yesterday UMHB delayed classes until 10 and then closed campus at 11. Today there was a delay until 9:30.

My oldest son has worked at least 21.5 hours in the last 2 days and is still at work. He has to work outside in the cold. But he doesn't complain because he likes the pay checks. He may have to work tomorrow too.
