anyone going to freeze out this one? I live 20 min from Westlake High...Ought to be REAL COLD!!!

Captains for the U.S. Under-19 National Team and the World Team have been selected for the second annual Team USA vs. The World game on Wednesday, Feb. 2, at 7:30 p.m. CT in Austin, Texas.

Team USA captains were selected by the squad’s 13-member coaching staff spanning five states and Washington, D.C., led by head coach Darren Allman of Austin Westlake (Texas) High School.

2011 U.S. Under-19 National Captains (two offense; two defense):

Ø KIEHL FRAZIER, Quarterback, Shiloh Christian (Ark.) High School; Auburn commit

Ø WAYNE LYONS, Cornerback, Dillard (Fla.) High School; Stanford commit

Ø JAXON SHIPLEY, Wide Receiver, Brownwood (Texas) High School; Texas commit

Ø STEPHON TUITT, Defensive End, Monroe Area (Ga.) High School; Notre Dame commit

The U.S. Under-19 National Team is comprised of 45 high school seniors representing 18 states and Washington, D.C. Team USA players will attend seven of the past nine BCS national champions.

2011 World Team Captains (three offense; three defense):

Ø BECK COULTER, Linebacker, Eastern Arizona College; American Samoa

Ø MICHAEL HABETIN, Offensive Lineman, Swarco Raiders (Club Team); Austria

Ø JAKE HARTY, Wide Receiver, Calgary Colts (Club Team); Canada

Ø TAVITA KATINA, Defensive Lineman, Fa’asao Marist High School (American Samoa); Hawaii commit

Ø STEVEN LUMBALA, Running Back, University of Calgary; Canada

Ø JOEL SEUTTER, Defensive Lineman, University of Saskatchewan; Canada

World Team players and coaches represent 16 countries on five continents, all of whom, as well as the United States, are members of the International Federation of American Football (IFAF). IFAF is comprised of 59 member nations across five continents. World Team captains were selected by their 18 coaches.

Team USA vs. The World marks the largest number of nations ever to participate in a single football game. The World Team head coach is Greg Marshall, the head football coach at the University of Western Ontario. He also is a former head coach of the Hamilton TigerCats of the Canadian Football League.

The NCAA recognizes the Team USA vs. The World game as a U.S. National Team competition, not an all-star game.

The game will be nationally televised live on Fox College Sports Central and streamed live at www.HighSchoolSports.net, a partner of USA Today. Among the outlets broadcasting the game on tape delay is NFL Network, which will air the game on Friday, Feb. 11, at 4:30 p.m. ET. The Team USA vs. The World game will be available in more than 100 million households live or on tape delay.

Tyler Wright 6'4" 200 lb wr-db will be playing. Tyler transferred from Rockdale to Grandbury last March. He is an excellent football player and an even better young man.

Rockdale is behind Tyler and his family 100%.
