In Brownwood there is some snow on the ground but a very thick layer of ice is what is so bad. Very dangerous driving conditions.

no snow or sleet here in beautiful (cloudy) downtown, Cuero, but the wind is blowing and it's getting colder........ sure hope we don't get any ice.. if there's anything worse than a north Texan driving on ice, it's a south Texan driving on ice..

I took off early yesterday and cut about a 1/2 cord of wood from our place. When I left the farm around 6pm it was 70 degrees.

Its 18 now with wind gust up to 40. I'm watching the lake white cap and steam comeing off the water. That wood cutting was worth it. LOL

We are cold at the Sandhills (17 degrees), a slow snow drift (no it is not sand) with some heart is falling. Pipes frozen at the office, so no running water at the moment. Bathrooms are off limits!

It took me 1 hour to drive my wife to work. And then I got stuck trying to get my van in the garage. It took me 1 hour to sweep the snow and ice off my drive way. Now I’m sitting here drinking some alcohol beverage. I better not drink to much. I have to go get some salt from Lowes, then go get the wife from work.
