Internet security question

My computer was acting up, so I installed some virus protection and updated the windows protection. Well now I can't log in on any site except for this one basically.

Trying to log in to facebook, my school site, any other email account, I end up with this message.

102 Error Connection_Refused

Now, I cant even get to that page.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think I have too much security on my laptop now and can't do the most simple things that I need to do.

My laptop is set up on a wireless router, and my roommate hasn't had these problems so I don't think it's the router.

Uninstall all of your virus protection and install AVG Free.

I would uninstall all the virus protection you have. I would then go with just one like AVG. You may also want to do a basic system restore. I have had this desktop(Dell) with pre-installed virus software for over 3 years now and have not noticed any viruses or poor performance.
