Jaxon and Cam as little guys in 7th grade!

Thought some of ya'll might get a kick out of this. I took these 7th grade shots of Jaxon Shipley (Brownwood & UT commit) & Cam McDaniel (Coppell & Notre Dame commit) doing their thing. They were pretty much untouchable even back then. Burnet sure did miss them the last few years...

Cam is #20

#7 in the background of Jaxon's shot was his cousin & QB, Jackie, who quit football as a sophomore. He was a great athlete too.

was talking to a former a burnet coach last night and we were praising what this seasons bulldog varsity did......the hard work and commitment put in by the team and coaches...after losing a lot talent and going out and winning this season..........cause didn't this group lose about five kids.

Yea, we're real proud of these kids. They've lost alot of kids over the past few years. Especially during their freshman year. Some just quit, others moved. Last season at times only suited up 27 kids. We moved here from Mesquite about 7 years ago and I'm sure proud of how this small town has supported these kids. Burnet will always be competitive!
