How many current 3A teams have ever had a player lucky enough to play in the Super Bowl?

Here is ours: Mineral Wells' Alvin Garrett

Garrett is best known for replacing injured starter Art Monk in the 1982 NFL playoffs. Although he only caught one pass during the regular season, he caught 13 passes for 231 yards and four touchdowns in Washington's three playoff games. Then in Washington's 27-17 win in Super Bowl XVII, he caught two passes for 13 yards and another touchdown. He also ripped off a 44-yard run on a reverse play during the third quarter, setting a field goal by kicker Mark Moseley. At the time, it was the longest run by a receiver in Super Bowl history.

Gene Upshaw - Robstown

After playing football in college at a number of offensive line positions, he played guard for the Oakland Raiders in the American Football League and the National Football League fifteen years. During that time, he played in three Super Bowls; in the 1967, 1976, and 1980 seasons, making him the only person (other than Jerry Rice) to play the game in three different decades. He also played in three AFL Championship Games, seven American Football Conference title games, one AFL All-Star game, and six NFL Pro Bowls. He was selected by The Sporting News' to the 1969 AFL All League team.
Upshaw is the only player in Professional Football history to play in three Super Bowls with the same team in three different decades. In 1999, he was ranked number 62 on The Sporting News' list of the 100 Greatest Football Players

Arthur Whittington..... won a Super Bowl with the Oakland Raiders after playing at Cuero and SMU.Whittington played football, basketball and participated in track and field during the 1970's. He played college football at SMU, for the Oakland Raiders in the NFL, and the Oakland Invaders of the USFL.Whittington not only won a state championship in football and track and field at Cuero, he went to the state tournament in basketball and participated in the state track and field meet four years in a row.

Whittington was second in the nation behind Pittsburgh's Tony Dorsett in all-purpose yards at SMU, and was named to the Dallas Morning News' all-time all-Southwest Conference team as a returner.

He went on to make the NFL's all-rookie team and win a Super Bowl with the Raiders.

Elmo Wright from Sweeny. Pretty sure he played in the SB that Kansas City won. #4 or #5. not sure. He probably was the first to do an enzone celebration. He just did a really fast running in place in the endzone. He probably inspired Billy White Shoes Johnson who most people think was the first one.

Elmo's QB at Sweeny was Jim Lindsey who came to ACU (ACC back then) and then played in Canada and won a Grey Cup.

Larry Centers, Larry Horton, and Traven Smith from Tatum played for New England, Bears, and Oakland Radiers.
What years in the super Bowl I do not remember. Centers and Horton were team mates at Tatum in 1980. Smith was a SR. in 93.

Anthony Lynn - Celina. Played for Denver as special teams starter in at least one super bowl. Don't know any other info than he is also RB coach for the Jets this year and barely missed getting there as a coach

Freer used to be 3A and formerly of Freer Steve McMichael was a DL for years for the Bears and was on their super bowl championship team and was a starter. I knew his mother but never really knew Steve and had a history class with her which is of interest but won't be told here. She and my mother were friends.
