How many players do yall think play in the NFL who dont lift weights? I know Charles Haley ex Cowyboys defensive end claimed he never lifted and Jamel Lewis has said the same that he doesnt lift weights either. I know personally the starting right guard for Perdue and hesaid they dont lift weights hard.

Im sure there are alot that do lift weights, but im just curious of those who dont. You can look at alot of NFL players and tell they are freaks in the weight room, but then you can look at others and tell either they dont lift or they dont lift real hard. I have a hard time believeing Nate Newton was a weight room worrier!

What about Hershel Walker? Think I read once he was a pushup/situp guy and did numerous reps everyday.

I would guess that probably half of the players in the NFL don't work out with weights real hard.

Hershel Walkers daily offseason workout was

3 sets of 500 pushups (no break)

3 sets of 1500 situps

ran 3 miles in 40 yd sprints

It was almost a 2 hr. workout
