By Matt Ward Eight finalists remain from a ten-person short interview list to succeed Fredericksburg High School athletic director/head football coach Dean Herbort who resigned from the position in November. Daingerfield AD Barry Bowman and Katy defensive coordinator Greg Miller withdrew from consideration late Tuesday evening.

Dale Williams of Caldwell HS is a finalist for Fredericksburg job.

Dangerfield coach has since pulled his name out. Rumor on theoldcoach.com is that David Sine of Sonara has also pulled out.

Anybody hear anything out of Hornetland on this one?
