Can someone help me out with who will "most likely" be Jasper's competition this year in D1? Are they staring at another semifinal matchup with Burnet or is there going to be a little more competition along the way this year?

Looks like Navasota should be the only real hurdle for Jasper, Reg.3 Div.I is weak other than Jasper again this year. IMO . If Burnet makes it to the semi's I definately see a rematch on the horizon.

Spaniard, I think he meant will there be a little more competition before the semi-finals this year than there was last year. Jasper didn't meet a capable playoff opponent before facing Burnet last season. Navasota seems to be better than any of those teams Jasper faced in Reg.3 last year at the present time, but I think Jasper will handle them handily. I hope Burnet takes care of business and gets the oppurtunity to face Jasper again this year.

WATCH OUT, Division I pretenders! With Caldwell's loss, Lorena's likely headed for Division I and they are for real! They just handed Cameron its worst loss in school history, 55-0, and they've allowed 28 points all year to some dandy opponents.

Playing good ball, but I do not think they will pose much of a threat in the playoffs.
