decatur has been down, they won't be as good as they were from 02 - 06 but with that being said it won't take much to win our weak district. We hung 60 on yall three times( if not three then two for sure) and we can do it again.

Hey--I just pointed out why Decatur was catching the grief on this thread---we ain't doing the complaining---takes a lot more than a few dirty birds to get a Bull fan down....:D BTW--your predictions have been lousy the last couple of seasons...:D

Ok, so...Decatur? What do they have coming back? How were their subvarsities? WTH happened to make them drop like they have? They were a state power for a few years and they looked to be growing considerably. What da deal?

Decatur JV won district I believe so should be some good talent coming up. 3rd string QB had to play alot due to injuries (Muhlstien - sp?) but really improved during the year. They should be better but not world beaters

Not recruiting good athletes is the main problem.

Second problem is relying on a spread offense when the players are not the spread offense type.

Third problem is Bridgeport using steroids to make the players beefy.

fourth is we need a new stadium

final problem is that while Decatur is growing, it is not becoming a family atmosphere like it was "supposed" to be.

and just for kicks.....Bridgeport business sector is much easier to navigate and more reliable as far as growth for more business. Decatur doesn't know how to expand apparently.

Last time I was in the area, Bridgeport looked like a typical small town and Decatur looked like it was growing quickly. No longer the case?
