Caldwell has 9 or 10 sophs on varsity and they're actually some of the strongest players. The future looks pretty bright in the Bee Hive.

Yep - Casey Kociuba, sophomore running back, had 181 yards to pass the 1000 mark on Friday against Wimberly. Matt Escamilla had 172 this week, and is probably around 500 yards on the season, and he is also just a sophomore.

Yeah, Baby!

Muleshoe has 2 soph starters and 1 freshman on the varsity this year. The current sophomore class has lost a total of 2 games since they were 7th graders. (One loss on last year's freshman team was to a 2A team that stacked their "JV" team with 2nd-stringers from the varsity. Oh well)
We think da Mules will be "back in black" by next year as a power in Region 1.

Bridge City is rotating 11 Sophomores in on starting offense and defense. They are in a rebuilding year and these boys were part of a very dominate undefeated 9th grade last year. They were just called to service a little earlier than is normally expected. There are 6 more achievers that might possibly be coming up too; from JV, to get a little experience for the remainder of District play. It's interesting, the JV is doing fine without these upgraded 11 on the Varsity.

I have heard it said by more than one coach that, for every soph you have starting that will result into a loss....Not sure it aplies to Burnet though.

Clyde has 3 sophmores.
One was our back up qb until our last game. I think he may have just earned himself a starting position!

Kendrick Pinchback from Cameron looks to be the diamond in the rough for Cameron. Coach's son Mullins had been starting until he got an injury...broken hand I believe. Anyways, Pinchback rushed for 1 score, threw for another during the CW game all while gaining over 260 yards passing. IF politics don't play a part, I think he should remain at that position and find something new for Mullins. Receiver would be fine and just have him as a backup QB. Probably won't happen but logically, it should.

9th state ranked Kennedale has 3 sophmores on Defense that make things happen:Daniel Mendoza, Lance Canter, and Jordan Page. They make stops that help KTown WIN, coach2b, not lose.
