Alaniz threw 15 strike outs after throwing 16 1st game.An awesome performance.Jason Adams threw a very good game in game 2 but a homer by Yoakum in the 6th got em back in the game after trailin 4-1.Seems like Boening was able to handle Pirate bats better than Boone.Congrats to the Pirates.REGION 4 CHAMPIONS!

Alaniz looked AWESOME in game 3. He had to be tired. Pitched game one, played shortstop in game two, and threw 113 pitches in game 3.
First time I've seen him pitch, and WOW, he's impressive! Corpus paper gave him credit for 17 strike-outs in game one. That makes 32 strikeouts in his last two games against a state-ranked team. WICKED curve ball!!

Those are some very impressive numbers. Are there any major colleges looking at him in any sports?

He's just a Junior, but yes, several D1 schools are talking to him. He's also the quarterback on Sinton's state finalist team this last season. VERY talented young man.
