I don't think this is a scam or anything other than just trying to dig his way out of a crappy situation. This guy isn't asking for fame and fortune. He just wants a job and an apartment. Who asks for an apartment anyways if your trying to wiggle your way to the top. Wouldn't you want a house/condo/mansion etc......

Sounds like this guy made some pretty poor decisions and by luck is finding a way to climb out. He's pretty humble.

The last 30 sec of this is awesome - "Now batting for the Boston Redsox,,,,,,TED WILLIAMS"

scam or not, the guy has a awesome voice, and is obviously on harder times than most of us if he is willing to do this scam just to get a job. Not saying if it is a scam or not.
