Talked to a couple of coaches in that area over the holidays and they both said this job is AT LEAST 3 years away from being a decent job. Basically said the talent level is way down, the facilities are not very good, and the pay is not very good for what it will cost to live there. It is the Hill Country though and seems like it would be a great place to live. It has been quite a while since I was there, but always seemed like a neat town

Fredericksburg is a tourist trap and is quite expensive. It is the "Hill Country", if a guy likes to hunt and fish, it's a great place. Really beautiful in the area.:)

That is what I was hearing too. Seems by location it would be attractive to many. Just wondering if any names have been rumored.

Im hearing a few names of finalists. Got some big name 5a and 4a coordinators, a few big name small school HCs, and one huge name HC. Nothing confirmed, so I won't post names.
