What makes a NFL OC want to take a NCAA OC job? He is going to the playoffs this year with the Cheifs and dosn't look like he's in any pressure of losing his job. This seems like a step down.

On a side note, this is huge for Muschamp, he needed a strong offensive minded assistant.

I think Weis enjoyed the College game more and he wants to coach with his son

He sure hoovered at it. I would of thought those 3 super bowl rings would be more fun but maybe he likes the whole recruiting aspect of NCAA.

I added after I posted..he is making the move mainly to get a chance to coach with his son who is starting his first year of coaching at Fla

If I am not mistaken he is a Charlie Weis JR..and I THINK he is a grad student coach

After working with/for NCAA, NFL, and NBA programs (not in a coaching capacity), I can tell you that I'll never again work in pro sports. The college game is just a much better environment than pro programs.
