Rumors are saying that Wade is D coordinator next year lmao

Why the laugh? D-coordinator is exactly what he should be doing and I think he'll be a good one. His head coaching days (in the NFL) are probably behind him though.

I support Wade as our DC. That's where he belongs as a coach.

I don't support Kubiak still being head coach though.

Kubiak gave the NFL's leading rusher 5 carries in the second half last week despite having a 17 point lead at halftime.

I would love for Houston to get Bill Cowher as HC but looks like Kubiak is staying.

Phillips will be a good choice for DC but what about Brian Billick????? He would be a GREAT Choice as DC IMO!!!!!!

I actually think Wade Phillips would be a good hire for DC. That's his forte, and he's had success in the NFL. If allowed to concentrate on that aspect of his job he will be successful. The Texans do need a change at head coach, though, IMHO.

As I understand it, there will likely be a lockout next season, which is fine with me. High school and SOME college football is all that's worth following anyhow. JMO. YMMV.

Looks like both sides are interested, but I wonder how well Mario Williams would perform in Wade's 3-4 that usually looks for DEs to open lanes for linebackers to get to the QB.

They might try to make him an OLB like Dallas did with Greg Ellis.

Do you think that's something Williams would want to do? A lot of players get chippy about what position they play...I know Greg Ellis was very unhappy about the move for most of his time in Dallas.

According to the local houston news it is a done deal. Wade Phillips will have the interview/contract signing Wednesday followed by a press conference.

I don't think they ever honestly thought about anyone else.

The new rumor circulating the internet is Houston is interested in Albert Haynesworth to play NG in their new 3-4 scheme.
