i had to post this because it's hilarious. if carmelo is worth 5 first rounders then what are lebron, dwade, and kobe worth? hahaha

First round draft picks in the NBA are not the same as they are in the NFL. If he signs an extension before the trade and you get him for 4+ years it is well worth it. I'd just make sure a couple of them are top 3-5 protected.

A team on the verge like the mavs need an elite talent more then they do a #20 pick.
